Ingredients
- 1 cup Quinoa, uncooked
- 0.5 tsp Salt, table
- 1.5 1 cup Water
- 5 gram Ground cumin
- 2.5 tablespoon Oil, olive, salad or cooking
- 1 pepper Peppers, hot chili, red, raw
- 1 tsp, ground Spices, pepper, black
- 2.5 gram Peppers, ancho, dried
- 1 tsp Seasonings
- 2 lime yields Lime juice, raw
- 0.5 cup Coriander (cilantro) leaves, raw
- 0.5 cup chopped Onions, young green, tops only
- 4 1/2 cup Bush's Best, Black Beans
Instructions
- Mix salt, water and quinoa and bring it to boil. Once the mixture is boiled, allow it to simmer under covered condition for a few minutes.
- Then rinse the beans with cold water. Remove seeds and stem from the red pepper.
- Once the quinoa is cooked, mix it with sliced green onion, red bell pepper and black beans. To moisten the ingredients you can add little dressing over them.
- Now add chopped cilantro and serve immediately.
