Ingredients
- 1 tsp Salt, table
- 0.52 tsp, ground Spices, oregano, dried
- 0.52 cup Cheese, ricotta, part skim milk
- 1 cloves Garlic, raw
- 283 gram Spinach, frozen, chopped or leaf, cooked, boiled, drained, without salt
- 1 tsp, ground Spices, pepper, black
- 20 1 ball bocconcini
Instructions
- Place a large baking sheet in a heated broiler with aluminum foil placed over it. Place pita halves on the sheet in such a manner that the cut sides are up.
- Take a small bowl. Combine garlic, oregano and ricotta in it. Then season the mixture with pepper and salt. Spread out this mixture evenly over the pitas and then top them with bocconcini and spinach. Again top the pitas with the remaining pepper and salt.
- Continue to broil the mixture until the cheese is melted completely. Serve immediately.
