Here is an awesome recipe for mild flavored cod fillet that is usually neglected by bodybuilders when it comes to seafood. However cod is an affordable fish and compared to its counterparts rich in protein, vitamin A, D & C and omega – 3 fatty acids.
Use fresh or frozen cod fillet as locally available for this recipe, just marinade the cod and bake it; it is as simple as that. Serve it along with steamed snap beans and couscous to prepare a complete meal.

Ingredients
- 1 fillet Fish, cod, Pacific, raw
- 1 tsp Oil, olive, salad or cooking
- 1 tsp Thyme, fresh
- 1 tsp Spices, onion powder
- 1 tsp Spices, garlic powder
- 1 dash Salt, table
- 1 cup 1/2" pieces Beans, snap, green, raw
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit.
- Mix oil, thyme, salt, garlic and onion powder in a bowl.
- Marinade the fillet in the mixture and coat well.
- Grease a baking pan with some olive oil to prevent sticking. Place the fillet in the pan and pour the marinade over it.
- Bake in the over for 15 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Meanwhile trim the snap beans and steam them in boiling water for about 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Serve the cod with steamed snap beans.
