Ingredients
- 1 dash Salt, table
- 1 dash Spices, pepper, black
- 5 slice Plain Butter
- 1 tsp Lemon rind, grated
- 1 oz Cheese, parmesan, dry grated, reduced fat
- 0.52 fl oz Lemon juice, raw
- 19 spear, extra large Asparagus, raw
- 12 oz Spaghetti, whole-wheat, dry
Instructions
- Take a large pot containing salted water and cook pasta in it.
- Shave the asparagus into thin slices.
- Set aside a small bowl containing ½ cup pasta water.
- Drain the pasta and add lemon zest and shaved asparagus into the pot with pasta.
- Now add lemon juice and butter. After seasoning it with salt and pepper, toss it up.
- If the mixture is too thick, add a little bit of pasta water and stir.
- Just before serving, top it by using Parmesan.
