If you lost faith in humanity, this recipe will change your life. It gives you hope, people can do great stuff! No seriously, this is one of the greatest recipes I know and great for a cheat day.
Leave out the taco's or eat less of them if you can't afford to eat the fat. To increase the protein in this recipe, you can use minced chicken or minced turkey instead of the lean ground beef.

Ingredients
- 1 serving Beef, ground, 95% lean meat / 5% fat, raw
- 0.12 unit Taco Spices Seasoning Mix
- 1 medium Bell pepper (green/yellow/red)
- 0.6 100g Tomato sauce, canned, no salt added
- 1 head, small Lettuce, iceberg (includes crisphead types), raw
- 3 large whole Tomatoes, red, ripe, raw, year round average
- 0.52 cup, shredded Cheese, low fat, cheddar or colby
- 12 shell Taco shells, baked
- 1 pepper Peppers, hot chili, red, raw
- 1 medium Onions, raw
- 1 tablespoon Oil, olive, salad or cooking
Instructions
- Heat up a pan with the oil and brown the ground beef
- Add the tomato sauce, the seasoning mix and the chopped pepper (if you don't like spicy, leave it out), and let it simmer
- Chop the lettuce, tomatoes and bell pepper
- Put the taco shells in the oven for a couple of minutes until they are crisp
- First stuff the shells with the ground beef, then add the vegetables
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top for the final touch!
