Ingredients
- 1 fillet Chicken breast, low fat
- 1 tbsp Spices, coriander seed
- 1 tsp or 1 packet Mustard, prepared, yellow
- 1 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
- 1 tsp Spices, garlic powder
- 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Spices, cloves, ground
- 1 dash Salt, table
- 1 tbsp, ground Spices, pepper, black
- 1 tsp Oil, olive, salad or cooking
Instructions
- Dry roast the spices – coriander seeds and mustard seed in a pan over medium heat, until fragrant. Remove from the heat and let it cool.
- Add cooled spices, brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and cloves to a spice grinder and coarsely ground the spice mix.
- Preheat the oven to 375 degree Fahrenheit and prepare a baking tray.
- Transfer the spice mix in a big bowl, add black pepper and season the chicken breast in the spice mix thoroughly.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook seasoned chicken breast for 2-3 minutes from both sides, then transfer it to baking tray and bake for 10 minutes.
- Flip the chicken and bake for another 5 minutes until brown from the other side as well.
- Remove from the oven and let it stand for 5 minutes before slicing.
