Protein steam cakes [Bulkbites.com]

This recipe is the bodybuilding version of a traditional Indonesian dish called "Kwee Mangkok". I replaced some ingredients, and I was stunned that it still worked out pretty well. The cakes contain a relatively high amount of fat, but coconut fats are said to be thermogenic. Thermogenic means that this fat actually increases your metabolism and is actually stimulating your body to burn more fat. These snacks are great to take to the gym, and eat immediately after your workout. You do need a steamer or steam pan for this one!
