Sweet potatoes are extremely useful ingredients as it is rich in complex carbohydrate that is as important as protein for bodybuilders. sweet potato hash brown are one of my favorite post workout snacks, I love them so much that sometimes I prepare them for my breakfast and serve along with fried egg. This recipe is loaded with complex carbs, protein, beta- carotene, fiber and manganese.

Ingredients
- 1 small, large, medium Sweet potato, raw
- 1 medium Egg, whole, raw, fresh
- 1 tsp Spices, onion powder
- 1 tsp Spices, garlic powder
- 1 tsp Oil, olive, salad or cooking
- 1 dash Salt, table
- 1 tbsp Spices, pepper, black
- 1 tsp, leaves Spices, oregano, dried
- 1 tsp, leaves Spices, thyme, dried
- 1 tsp Spices, chili powder
- 10 gram Bread crumbs, dry, grated, plain
Instructions
- Peel and grate the sweet potato to make the hash brown.
- Take a bowl and combine grated sweet potato, herbs, red chili powder, bread crumbs, garlic, onion powder, salt and pepper.
- Mix well and prepare big flat patties by using this mixture.
- Heat oil to a non stick pan over medium heat and cook these sweet potato patties for about 3-4 minutes per side or golden brown.
- Remove the patties to a plate and set aside.
- Crack the eggs in the same pan and cook until white is set but the yolk is runny.
- Serve the half fried eggs over sweet potato hash brown and sprinkle salt and pepper on the top.
