Ingredients
- 0.24 tsp Sugars, granulated
- 1 medium Carrots, raw
- 2.24 tsp Oil, sesame, salad or cooking
- 0.52 fl oz Lime juice, raw
- 1 cucumber Cucumber, with peel, raw
- 1 stalk, medium Celery, raw
- 1 4-5 leaves Mint Leaves, green, raw
- 4 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 1 leaves Basil, fresh
- 3 cloves Garlic, raw
- 4 tbsp Soy sauce made from soy (tamari)
- 1 cup shredded Lettuce, green leaf, raw
- 1 sheet Rice Paper
- 1 medium Bell pepper (green/yellow/red)
- 8 4 Oz Skinless Boneless Chicken Breast
Instructions
- Mix soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil, vegetable oil with chicken in a large bowl. Cover the bowl and keep it aside for at least 20 minutes.
- Heat oil in a frying pan and cook chicken. Once the chicken is cooked, slice it into slices of ΒΌ inches for rolling.
- To prepare soy dip, mix sesame oil, sugar, lime juice, garlic and light soy sauce. Keep it aside.
- Take a large bowl and fill it with a little warm water. Gently dip rice paper in the water. Make sure you do not over-dip the paper.
- Place the rice paper on the working surface to enable it to absorb water and become soft.
- Start filling the rice paper with the fillings of vegetables, chicken, herbs and lettuce.
- Now start rolling the rice paper, starting from the section that is away from you. Make sure the fillings are held tight in the rice paper.
- Serve the rolls immediately with soy dip.
