Instructions

  • Heat 1 cup of canola oil in a wok for deep frying.
  • Cut the beef steak in ½ inch thick slices with the help of a sharp knife.
  • Prepare the batter by whisking together corn starch, flour, egg, salt and pepper.
  • Add ½ cup of water little by little just to make a thin batter.
  • Toss the beef slices in the batter and deep fry until crispy.
  • Try to drain all the oil while removing from the wok and set them on a paper napkin to absorb excess oil.
  • Serve with tomato sauce.
