Instructions

  • Cut eggplant into thick slices of ½ inch each. Then cut each of the slices into strips of ½ inch.
  • Now take a bowl and mix garlic salt, Italian seasoning, cheese and the wheat germ in it.
  • Then dip the eggplant sticks into the bowl containing egg substitute and later coat it with wheat germ mixture.
  • Now start arranging the eggplant strips on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Then spray little cooking spray over eggplant strips and continue heating it for about 3 minutes. Remove it from oven and spritz with cooking spray and heat it for a couple of more minutes so that they are golden brown.
  • Serve the dish with spaghetti sauce.
